PROCTOR:  The student will need to locate their own proctor.  Requirements: A proctor cannot be related to the student or be a personal acquaintance, roommate or relative.  A proctor should be an education person, librarian or library, a healthcare professional or administrator, or administrative assistant.  The student will need to pay any fess that the proctor would charge.  The instructor reserves the right to accept or deny the choice of proctor.  In most cases student exams will be mailed directly to the proctor (or emailed).  If you are wondering if a specific person can serve as your proctor, email your instructor.

Please complete this form (required): http://pathology.med.und.nodak.edu/proctor/stlogin.cfm which will inform your instructor about your proctor information.  THIS MUST BE DONE EACH NEW SEMESTER.  Do not complete it until the day class begins because it will be on that day that you will be given access to the form.  If you have a question concerning the proctor form contact Kelsey for assistance at 701-777-4050 or kelsey.friezen@med.und.edu

BLACKBOARD SUPPORT:  Blackboard is the learning management system used to deliver the online course materials. Blackboard can be accessed at http://online.und.edu .  Access will be given to the student THE DAY CLASS BEGINS.  Campus connection should be used to view the student’s final grade.  If you have any questions concerning Blackboard contact Janna Schill at: janna.schill@med.und.edu

UND Student E-MAIL:  We request that you log on to campus connection and make sure you have updated your email to have your UND Email account become your primary email (check the box)...to accomplish this you must select your UND Email (@my.und.edu) as your preferred email . You must activate your UND assigned Email in order to activate your login to Blackboard.  All students need to access their UND Email account at least several times each week. It is important that the student understand this is ONLY email address we will be using when we send you an e-mail and ask that you use it to send us an e-mail.  The reason for this is that we can then be assured you are receiving e-mails we send because we know this is a valid e-mail account.  If you have not activated it do so today and updated it on campus connection to be your preferred email.  If you have a question on your U-Mail go to: http://itss.und.edu/.  If you need further help contact the UND Help Desk via telephone (777-2222) or e-mail (itsshelp@mail.und.nodak.edu).  Remember to check your email account often so that you don’t miss important information from your instructor(s) or the MLS program.

FINAL COURSE GRADE:  Access/view your final official course grade on UND Campus Connection (do not use Blackboard to view official course grade).

FURTHER QUESTIONS/ASSISTANCE:  Please contact the UND MLS Administrative Assistant, Mary Beth McGurran at marybeth.mcgurran@med.und.edu or 701-777-2634.
