Clinical Laboratory Science Case Studies

The case studies present a case, often rare in nature, discussing its pathogenesis, clinical and laboratory diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. This program is intended for individuals who wish to maintain their laboratory certification, or for those interested in staying current in the ever-changing field of laboratory medicine. P.A.C.E. approved.

Lecture Format

This series provides case studies in a written format. The participant can view the case studies online, or print a copy to read.

CEU Credit

Each of the case studies has an online, open-book quiz associated with it. Continuing education credit is earned by achieving a 70% or better on the quiz. A total of up to ten contact hours or 1.0 CEU's are available.

Availability

Program will be available starting on February 17, 2009, and must be completed by February 17, 2010.
